At Shorthills Villa, we offer a wide variety of care services that any of our residents can take advantage of, whether they reside in our independent wing or enhanced care wing. Below we will outline exactly what all residents of Shorthills Villa have available to them:

Food Services

Our pricing includes all meals, ensuring a stress-free environment for our residents. They can take comfort in knowing that what they see is what they will pay.
Residents have the benefit of choosing between two food options for each meal, except for breakfast which is served à la carte.
Snacks are served in between meals which includes coffee, tea, fruit, cookies, biscuits and more.
Our trained chef prepares all meals on site; we do not serve pre-cooked meals.

Housekeeping

Suites are given a full cleaning once weekly which is included in the advertised prices.
Waste cans within suites are emptied daily.
All high-touch surfaces around the building are disinfected multiple times daily to ensure infection control protocols are followed.
All towels and linens are laundered as needed.
Personal laundry can be completed by our staff as an added charge.
Laundry machines are readily accessible to residents at no charge.

Nursing Department

Our home is staffed 24/7 with qualified nursing staff to ensure the safety of you or your loved ones.
Specialized plans of care created for any resident that joins our community.
Enhanced care options available as an added charge for those who require additional assistance with their daily needs.
Emergency call bells are installed in all suites to alert nursing staff in case of emergencies.

Recreational Services

Our activity director provides a variety of entertaining, educational and stimulating activities and exercises to ensure residents are able to stay active.
Entertainers regularly visit our home to provide residents with fun and exciting shows and displays.
Social events are regularly arranged to facilitate social interaction between both new and existing residents.
We also provide church services for a variety of different denominations.
